Welcome to Patch24! This guide will help you quickly deploy and configure our macOS application patch management solution.
What is Patch24?
Patch24 is an MDM-agnostic macOS patch management solution that automates application updates, provides comprehensive visibility, and integrates seamlessly with your existing device management infrastructure.

Prerequisites
Before you begin deployment, please review the requirements guide to ensure your environment is ready for Patch24.
System Requirements
Quick setup (3 steps)
Step 1: Obtain your license
Patch24 requires a valid license to operate.
Get your license
Contact Jigsaw24 or your account representative to obtain your license key.
Once you have your license, you'll deploy it via your MDM as a configuration profile. For detailed instructions, see Patch24 Agent Preference Keys.
Step 2: Configure your environment
Once you've obtained your license and access, customise Patch24 for your organisation:

Important
You must make any required changes to the Patch Policy on the portal and click Save before deploying the agent. Failure to do so may result in the agent not functioning as expected.
Step 3: Deploy the agent
Deploy the Patch24 Agent package to your macOS devices using your MDM solution:

Important
The agent requires specific permissions to function properly. Make sure to deploy the required configuration profiles from our Template Profiles section. This includes permissions for Full Disk Access, Notifications, and others as needed.
